OWNER

Ed has been in the auto repair business his whole life. In 1955, when Ed was born, His father, Claude Moon, opened Moon's Service Center in downtown Atlanta, GA. Claude spent many years building racing engines before opening the retail shop. Ed grew up around his father’s shop and vehicle repair became his passion at a young age. In 1973, Moon's Service Center was moved from Atlanta to its present location on Mableton Parkway in Mableton, GA and Ed took over as owner. In 2001 Ed opened the Truck Shop division of the company and hired Greg as the manager. Ed is proud to own a completely family-owned business and looks forward to many years of business to come. VICE PRESIDENT, MOON'S AUTO & TRUCK SERVICE CENTER

As Vice President of Moon’s Service Center, Ryan Moon proudly represents the third generation of leadership at the family-owned business founded by his grandfather in 1955. Though he never had the chance to meet his grandfather, Ryan is driven by a deep sense of pride and purpose in carrying on the legacy he built.

Ryan has been around the business his entire life—changing oil and cleaning bays at a young age, learning the trade from the ground up. His hands-on experience and lifelong exposure to the industry have fueled his passion for serving both individual customers and commercial fleets with excellence and integrity.

A graduate of Kennesaw State University, Ryan earned his degree in Business Administration, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to help grow and modernize the company while staying true to its values.

At Moon’s, Ryan focuses on doing whatever it takes to keep customers happy and fleets on the road—ensuring reliability, fast turnaround, and honest service.

When he’s not at the shop, you’ll find Ryan enjoying a round of golf, catching a Braves game, or relaxing on the lake.

AUTO SHOP MANAGER

Will has over 25 years of experience in the auto repair industry. Will displays excellent customer service and professionalism to our customers of Mableton and the surrounding areas. He will do what it takes to get the customers vehicle in premium condition and back on the road in a timely manner. TRUCK SHOP MANAGER

Chris Klaer is a seasoned Truck Shop Manager with over 32 years of experience in the auto and truck industry. Born and raised in Cobb County, Georgia, Chris grew up in his family’s auto shop and developed a lifelong passion for the field at an early age. His career spans a wide range of roles across independent repair shops, Ford dealerships (where he spent a decade), tire service centers, and medium to heavy-duty truck fleet operations.

Known for his hands-on leadership style and commitment to quality, Chris takes great pride in helping customers with their automotive, light truck, and heavy-duty service, repair, and sales needs. His depth of knowledge and approachable demeanor make him a trusted resource in the shop and a strong advocate for customer satisfaction.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, grilling, playing softball and golf, and cheering on the Atlanta Falcons and Braves. Though not the tallest in the room, he’s known for his impressive beard and even better sense of humor—always ready with a good story or a joke to bring a smile.
